 Job Summary:
The Job Analyst is responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and documenting organizational positions. This role ensures that job descriptions are accurate, roles are classified correctly within the salary structure, and compensation remains competitive with market standards while complying with all relevant labor laws.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct job analysis interviews with employees and managers to collect data on job duties, responsibilities, and required skills.
  • Draft comprehensive and accurate job descriptions, job specifications, and competency profiles for all organizational levels.
  • Evaluate job roles using standard job evaluation methodologies to determine internal equity and assign appropriate salary grades.
  • Research and analyze market compensation data, salary surveys, and industry trends to recommend competitive pay scales.
  • Review and update existing job titles and structures to ensure organizational consistency and alignment with business goals.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with employment laws, such as the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) exemption status classifications.
  • Provide data-driven insights and support during annual compensation reviews and organizational restructuring projects.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in human resources, job evaluation, compensation analysis, or data analysis.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interviewing staff and drafting clear organizational documentation.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of precision in identifying role differences, grading jobs, and matching market survey data.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of labor laws and compensation principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, or Certified Compensation Professional/CCP).
  • Experience using HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or BambooHR).
