About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Driver to join our team in a full-time permanent role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely, delivering products to customers, and supporting daily logistics operations. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient and timely deliveries while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for deliveries and pickups across assigned routes
- Load and unload goods, ensuring products are handled with care
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal staff
- Follow all company policies, road safety rules, and compliance standards
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed
- Ensure timely delivery schedules and handle urgent delivery requests
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid New Zealand Full Driver’s Licence (Class 1 required; Class 2/4/5 preferred)
- Previous driving or delivery experience is an advantage
- Good understanding of NZ road rules and safety regulations
- Ability to lift, carry, and move goods safely
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Basic recordkeeping and documentation ability
