We have a rare and exciting opportunity available to join our HR team as a HR Coordinator. This is the perfect role if you are looking to grow and develop your career in HR. You will likely be someone with a few years of HR/Recruitment experience under your belt, or a HR graduate (or nearing graduate) that is keen to kickstart your HR career! If you don’t meet all of the criteria, but are passionate about HR, with a fantastic attitude and are motivated to grow and learn we would still love to hear from you. We are happy to provide full training and develop the right person.This is a permanent opportunity, based on-site in the office, Monday – Friday at our Head Office in Palmerston North. Ideally, you will be available to start in December. What’s involved in the role:

  • Supporting managers and employees by providing advice on people related policies and processes.
  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process for TNZ head office vacancies.
  • Managing the onboarding process for new staff and exit process for staff leavers.
  • Supporting with facilitating training and presenting to new starters.
  • HR project work.
  • Activities and tasks to promote Toyota’s Employer Brand.
  • A range of other generalist HR tasks as required.

To be successful, ideally you will have:

  • A relevant tertiary level qualification (preferably in HR).
  • Some prior HR or recruitment experience is preferred, but not essential.
  • Fantastic people skills, with the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders at different levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Competence using the MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of NZ employment legislation and HR best practice.
