We’re looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team at Toyota New Zealand’s Head Office in Palmerston North. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our valued employees.


About the Role

As a Payroll Administrator, you will:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data.
  • Respond to payroll queries promptly and professionally.
  • Support HR and Finance teams with reporting and reconciliation tasks.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives for payroll systems and processes.

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in payroll administration (minimum 2 years preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
