We are seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Officer  to play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of  supplier invoices, expense claims, and payments. This position is  critical to maintaining strong financial controls, supporting vendor  relationships, and driving process efficiency within our finance  function. 

What you’ll be doing 

As a Senior Accounts Payable Officer, you will: 

• Accurately process high-volume supplier invoices into our Netsuite ERP accounting system and perform supplier reconciliations 
• Ensure all invoices and expense claims are accurately coded, approved, processed, and paid within agreed timeframes 
• Set up and maintain supplier accounts 
• Maintain  positive relationships with managers, staff, and suppliers by  responding to queries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely payments 
• Uphold financial integrity by adhering to internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting standards 
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounts payable processes and contribute to system and workflow enhancements 

What We’re Looking For 

• NCEA Level 3 or equivalent 
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable function within a wider finance team 
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end accounts payable processes in a high-volume environment 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy 
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills 
• Experience with an ERP accounting system is preferable 
• Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
